Terms of Service.

Platform Nature

Genfind is a Consumer-to-Consumer (C2C) marketplace operated by Genfind ApS. Genfind is NOT a party to any trade — all transactions take place directly between private individuals.

Genfind provides only the technical platform, the escrow rails, and our advisory Legit Check AI.

Binding Trades

All confirmed trades on Genfind are LEGALLY BINDING between the buyer and the seller. As per Danish law (Købeloven), private sales between consumers do NOT carry the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal (fortrydelsesret) that applies to B2C transactions under the EU Consumer Rights Directive.

Once a buyer clicks Claim piece and confirms the binding purchase, the transaction cannot be cancelled unless both parties mutually agree.

Escrow & Payment

All payments are processed through Stripe Connect. Funds are held in escrow by Genfind's payment processor until delivery is confirmed by the carrier's tracking system.

Seller payout occurs automatically upon confirmed delivery. Disputes are handled through Genfind's resolution process.

Legit Check AI

By listing items in premium categories, sellers consent to automated AI-driven authenticity scanning (the Legit Check). Results are advisory and do not constitute a professional authentication guarantee.

Items flagged as suspicious may be subject to additional review.

Karma Credits

Karma credits earned through referrals, activity, or promotions are non-transferable and have no cash value. They can be redeemed for platform perks (listing boosts, priority placement).

Genfind reserves the right to adjust the Karma program at any time.

User Conduct

Users must be 18 years or older. All listed items must be lawfully owned by the seller. Counterfeit items are strictly prohibited.

Violations result in immediate account termination and may be reported to the relevant authorities.

Liability Limitation

Genfind's role is limited to providing the marketplace platform and the escrow service. We are not liable for item condition, authenticity disputes beyond our AI advisory tool, or shipping damages once the carrier has accepted the package.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by Danish law. Disputes shall be resolved through the Danish Consumer Complaints Board (Forbrugerklagenævnet) or the Danish courts.
